The Pibroch Network’s sister site Learning Living Pibroch acts as a repository of some the late David Hester’s analyses of early pibroch source materials and issues of interpretation that emerge from them. The opinions expressed in his writings remain his own. However, the site also acts as a community forum, stimulating deeper understanding of and broader engagement with pibroch’s source materials through collaboration, responding to each other’s posts and sharing discoveries.

We moderate collegial discussions where people bring different experiences and perspectives to the table. Topics include interpretation, composition, and how to develop pibroch’s infrastructure. This is a haven for innovative research that breaks down silos, identifies trenchant problems, and works collaboratively toward genuine solutions.
