Another in the series of explorations into traditional settings and interpretations. Simple recordings of five urlars, intended to open musical possibilities in an effort to imagine performances in their original genres, tempos and expressions.

  1. In Praise of Marion: I wonder how it would sound coming right off the final A of the hiharin, playing it short, about the same length as the A in the middle. Emphasis on the first A and the subsequent C, same rhythm, symmetrically, as the horodin in the opposite direction.
