Cumha Thighearna Arnabuil Lament for the Laird of Ainapole G; Cumha Tighearna Anapuill / The Laird of Anapools Lament K1; Cumha Tighearna Anapuill / The Laird of Anapools Lament KK. Lament for the Laird of Arnaboll. MacLeod of Gesto wrote (Gesto Notes) ‘I do not know where Ainapole is, or what Laird this was, but the tune is a very fine one, and difficult to play’. It is Arnaboll, a farmstead in Sutherland, as shown by B. MacKenzie, ‘The Laird of Anapool and his Lady’ Piping Times 47, No. 9, pp. 24-29; No. 10, pp. 16-21 (1995).
