Fàilte Mhic Nìll Chinn Tairbeirt Failte Mhic Neill Chinn-tairbeart / Lachlan MacNeill Campbell Esqr of Kintarbert’s Salute K1. MacNeill of Kintarbert’s Salute. Composed by John MacKay, father of Angus, and dated 1837 (K1). Another title with a Mac- surname in modern style. Lachlan MacNeill was born in 1802. He inherited the estate of Kintarbert in 1838, and assumed the name Campbell from then until his death in 1852. He was the patron who commissioned Angus MacKay to write the manuscript KK. See B.
